Sushi Bella

Located on lower Lonsdale Avenue, it's my personal local favorite for Japanese cuisine. Can be busy at times. Recommend the piping hot teriyaki iron grill (chicken, beef or tofu) and the dynamite roll. Service and view is good. Nice place for a date.

It is a nice place to have lunch. The service is very attentive and the food is of good quality. The lunch specials are on the high side but you get good portions and quality. The lunch crowd isn't huge so you can get a nice table and have a chat outside or inside. We sat outside for a casual business lunch.

Friendly service, fresh sushi and great value. Servers were happy to help out with selection and recommend some of their own favourites. There is plenty of parking in the area and a few (steep) blocks from Lonsdale Quay. We had basic rolls and Bella Rolls while enjoying one of three Japanese beers.

Busy Lonsdale sushi place great price great selection great taste well worth the wait. Has its own parking in front but gets full quick.

First time for us at Sushi Bella NV, now you have the option ALL YOU CAN EAT, excellent menu for lunch and dinner...good portions and huge variety, but the best the quality of food and great service. Very affordable .Our waitress ISEUL was very gentle and professional and gave us all hints for a great lunch, and to avoid later surprises and mistakes with this new option.Hardly can’t wait to go back.Very delicious !!!

In a COVID19 world, the seats are spread out to every other table. Menus are on the walls. Lots of hand sanitizer and super friendly staff. I had the Chicken Karage, which was great. Nice fried chicken, portions were generous. I'm tired living as a hermit. Finally a meal in a restaurant. Awesome experience, and I hope you guys can weather this storm. I'll definitely be back. No crummy virus is going to stop me.

Overall atmosphere is good. I would probably come again.

The veggie sushi was great, very fresh and sushi rice was perfect. I think there are some issues with the delivery/ take out service, as there was a disgruntled customer at the counter complaining about a 45 minute wait. The service in the restaurant was good.

Always had a positive and welcoming experience with the two main woman I always see working. Anyone who orders here is definitely a regular because the quality is outstanding. Today is mother’s day, and we are going through a pandemic, meaning no restaurant could of planned for how busy takeout could of been. Also most likely with regulations with how much staff you can have within the area of the restaurant. It was so sad to see people yelling at these poor front of house women as they are doing their absolute best to keep up with orders. Making them cry. They kept composed and focused, and kept a smile on their face and were extremely apologetic. The food is amazing, but witnessing all that, was outstanding costumer service for keeping composed and smiling. If there is any bad review after this one about wait time or anything ridiculous, don’t feed into it. We are going through a pandemic, the line was mayhem for one day. Sushi Bella is great sushi and costumer service is tip top!

I don't often give restaurants "Excellent" reviews but all of the food we received the night we attended was fantastic!!Sushi Bella is a hidden gem! Despite how busy the restaurant was we were promptly given a table and menus. Service was quite fast!! thanks to our server Bella she was very attentive and professional. The food was awesome!! We couldn't decide what to get but thanks to Bella’s recommendations it was hands down the best meal we've had in awhile. We had various dishes to share and couple cocktails as well! All plates were cleared with two very exceptionally satisfied customers.

This place is my go to for weekend lunch.. Try the chicken karaage and spicy garlic teriyaki (on the grill) it is one of the best! My hubby enjoys the variety of Sushi. Must go if you are in Lower Lonsdale :)Ohh! You must try their All You Can Eat Menu.. some rules apply, but worth a try :)

Absolutely fabulous. The food was exceptional overall a lovely evening in a beautifully appointed restaurant, as was Bella, our server. Her professinal service was first rate, paid attention to every detail which really made everyone at the table feel special. Also we felt absolutely no rush, even though it was quite busy. Great place for two or for a group. Would definitely recommend!

Very friendly, I was greeted as soon as I walked in by cooking staff and shortly after by the host, also leaving I was given many thank you’s and goodbyes. Very friendly server who was kind and attentive, all around amazing service. Food was also outstanding, it was delicious and their lunch specials are great prices for a single person. Also warm and comfortable environment! I had the Favourite Combo with spicy salmon option.

Always a great experience at Sushi Bella . The servers are very friendly, the service is quick, and the food is very tasty and healthy.

Rice was overcooked and texture was mush. Soft shell crab was very greasy, maybe the temperature of their deep fryer was not hot enough. Plenty of sushi restaurants within a couple blocks, hopefully they are better.

Did not take my Groupon nor did they offer a solution. Legally they have to offer face value paid but they didn't even want my business.
